The Founder of Outland Emporium.
Nada was born on February 31, 1943, in a little town called Nadir Point, Ohiowa. His Father was a melancholy man whose dream in life was for his son to make something of himself, since he felt his own life amounted to nothing. Little did he know that his son would aspire to achieve that same lofty goal. (Mr. Zippo did have an idea once about a combination flint and steel thingy that could light cigars, but the guy he told his idea to said it was stupid so he gave up on it.)
The family was dirt poor so young Nada had nothing to play with growing up, and play with it he did!
He was a generous lad and was constantly offering to make things for people he met, but they would always say, “Nothing would make me happier.” So that was what he mostly made for them. Needless to say, he became the best at it.
Soon word of his unique skills and his annoying persistence began to spread and more and more people would beg him, “Nada, for the last time, I want nothing from you!” And that is how Outland Emporium was born.
We are proud to keep this noble tradition alive especially in these strange times when our world leaders have taught us that we can believe nothing; and we do with all our hearts!
